Short Note
What if we decided to be the first democracy to come up with something better than a system based upon political parties? Why do we have to have parties? Are our interests best served by continuing to be subject to the party-based system? Why not a democracy made up of individuals?

While I don't like a two party system that marginalizes all others, I think that parties do serve an important purpose and would expect that soon enough the individuals would gravitate to one side or another of issues that would effectively be the same result.
